Default Matchbox Chili

Hi there everybody,

This is my first year growing peppers so I thought I would try Matchbox. Its supposed to be an open pollinated version of 'Super Chili'.

From what I've read they don't really have a lot of their own flavour, they're just hot. Has anyone tried cooking with them or making salsa?

I grew super chili last year. They seem about like cayenne, similar heat/flavor, but I'm not a pepper connoisseur, I could be wrong . They were productive and beautiful small plants.
