Default Thanks to the Member who sent 64L and Big Jim Last year

Thanks to the member who sent me some seeds last year, 64L (L64) and some Big Jim. The 64's are the best and I plan to continue them as my primary pepper, good source for seeds?. The Big Jims weren't, the were small and hotter that anything, my neighbor loved them, but too hot for me. I plan to grow them for the neighbor.

Thanks again for the seeds.

I have a big pile of saved BigJim seed. Giving it a try next season, (that means i need to start seeds now)

I need to do a germination test any who. Mine are 3-4 out of ten so not too hot. Great for stuffing, roasting/smoking...
Must be a few varieties out there with the same name?
My season is way too short for peppers usually but i had a few plants do pretty great in the heat of last season.
My seeds are from Hatch. Said to be a compact plant with lots of meat/fruit.

Default Low Tunnel

Build a low tunnel, with plastic sheeting and leave it half on all summer. I am convinced that it is not the hours of daylight but rather the temp that counts the most for peppers.
