greasy beans and cutshorts
Has anybody had success with greasy beans or cutshort beans in the deep south? I purchased some at the WNC farmers market in Asheville NC last year and really liked them. Almost like eating string beans with pintos. I dont know if they will hold up to our heat and humidity but I think I'll have to try them.

This will be my first year growing them here in NJ as they fascinate me and I love beans. I thought they were more likely better suited for southern regions though. Are they strictly an Appalachian Mountain specialty?
Then again, you're talking to a girl who thinks anything south of Maryland IS the South lol...

All things equal they should grow great there.
