Default Which fruit shapes are recessive/dominant?

If everything goes to plan I might try to cross a couple of my plants for fun. One cross in particular I want to try involves an Ox heart x Beefsteak. However I don't know which shape is dominant/recessive or if it matters which way I cross them (Ox heart x Beefsteak or Beefsteak x Ox heart). My goal would be to produce an Ox heart shaped hybrid.

I'm guessing if I take pollen from a Beefsteak and pollinate an Ox heart, that the product will be an Ox heart shaped tomato. Am I correct?

I have found that most of the time an Oxheart shape will pull through but not dramatic. Sometimes later in the harvest on the same vine you may find some beefsteak shapes. But even then the beefsteak type fruits with have a slight point to it.

To make sure the cross was effective, check to make sure the seedling tomatoes have somewhat narrow leaves but not as narrow as the pure bred Oxheart. It is always a good idea to plant both parents along side the hybrid to see the difference. It is fun to write down all the detail of what you see. Things like vigor, earliness, yield, flavor, etc.
