Default Black Birds

I heard this almost helicopter like sound outside and look up to see hundreds of black birds. This camera only got a small portion of them. There could be well over 1000 of them in this flock.

That's a lot of birds there Robert. I hope that they are eating plenty of weed seeds and supplying you with some free fertilizer.

I wouldn't walk out there just in case they decide that they are there to carry you or your Mrs. away.

It's creepy how they do this sometimes....

Freaky! I been up by Petaluma where " the birds" was filmed. The place hasn't changed at all. The house is museum now. Pics could be start of a B movie..

It is an experience that you don't forget. They act in unison - when a few fly away they suddenly all do.

It reminds me of a Stephen King book called The Dark Half. The book's main character is haunted by his ghost twin brother, who is always accompanied by thousands of sparrows. I'm sure Stephen King was influenced by Hitchcock's The Birds.

They are oak trees, and more acorns than I've ever seen here.

Autonomously paradoxical.

You know, I think those black birds knew the weather was about to change. I haven't seen a single one since that day.
