great you guys can see the pics, maybe a login/logout/clear cache may do the trick for those with issues.

The hotties are meant to mow everyone down around here, so everybody take's it down a notch. I've tried to warn them about what 1 million + scoville really means.

I put someone down already with a small piece of the vein attached to a kraken scorpion, at 1st they said: "Hey, this isn't really spicy."
And then it started building, which led to: "Oh no, this is like a bunch of chiltepines."

Finally, "There's a slit down the middle of my tongue."

muaaaaahhhaaaaahaaaaaa!!

LOL, They ought to know from the name. "Kraken Scorpion" doesn't sound like anything nice. It sounds like something with a vicious bite.

The point really isn't the heat, though. There is a wonderful fruity aroma to the ripe peppers. It's like cranberries and roses. There's enough flavor to go a long way, so you can enjoy them in a big pot of food with just a few pods, to get the flavor without overbearing heat.

I think the challenge in selling them to chefs is not their usefulness, but simply that a few peppers goes a really long way. It would have to be a bonus to an agreement that you already had going for tomatoes or other high-volume produce. I think the best way to make money from hot peppers would be to make prepared items like hot sauce that have a long shelf life and can be sold over the Internet.

Gerardo, have you grown Anna's Multiflora tomato or Coeur de Boeuf Jaune? I am contemplating to get seeds, not familiar vendor to me. So, contemplating.

Neither have made it to my hands. They sound quite interesting, perhaps you'll be the pioneer and explore them for all of us. Pointy end is very cool. And so far all yellow oxhearts have been pretty strong candidates.

Beautiful setting. Thank you for sharing it with us, Gerardo.

This leaves looks like mites. Hate them.

Nice i too use 707. Just bought 4 bags at 23 buck a piece and my hydro guy threw in a 2 cubic foot bag of Dr. Earths home grown premium for free. Though he did warn me it is a bit light on the nutrients.

$40 regular price for the 707 at my store, credit cards accepted, but cash gets you 5% off. No checks. It's kind of pricey here.

I will be using some of his coco coir in 5kg blocks and x-large bags of chunky perlite this year though. This I can do for about $20 per 3cuft

Ocean's Forest is $30 here for the 3 cubic foot bag. I was thinking it would be worth it to mix in a few handfuls into my cheap pro mix.
