Out of 6 seed planted, I now have 3 small but healthy seedlings growing. The source for these seed is in South Africa. I plan on saving tons of seed if and when the plants mature fruit.

PP, a little cayenne goes along ways with our canine friends. Oregano also gets their attention. Or some 3% hydrogen peroxide in a squirt bottle will definately get their attention when squirted in their nose. When I had a paper route and the dogs would run up to me yapping and nipping at my pant legs one shot in the nose and they wanted no part of me, ever! Did not hurt them but made their eyes water. Ami

Yes, how did it taste? What would you compare it to?
How did you get a ripe one in zone 5 anyway?
How productive does the plant look?

LOL, I was wondering Greg when someone was going to ask me how zone 5 got a pepper that quick!! A friend of mine has a greenhouse. That plant was in the greenhouse until last week. So it got a jump start on the rest of them.
Taste? It's tricky. You bite into it and you don't think it's that hot. Then a few seconds later, you feel the heat. I would put it on the heat scale along side of Jalapeno.

Yes! That's how they looked when I ate one, but it was a preserved one and tasted sweet as well as hot. Any sweetness to it tomatoaddict?

I'm growing one that I bought from local gardening center called Cherry Bomb that looks sort of like Peppadew. Anyone have info on Cherry Bomb?

Cherry Bomb is a hybrid available from Totally Tomatoes. I have grown it a couple of times. Seems to do OK, pickles well, and fresh eats OK too.
