Those tomatoes by the Windows aren´t Czech varieties. They are american and spanish beefsteak tomatoes. I sowed seeds of czech tomatoes until yesterday. On Monday I got seeds of old czech tomatoes from Gengel (czech analog of SSE). All these tomatoes are new for me.

Vladimir,

It is so wonderful that you found and are growing these rare Czech varieties! I have never heard of these varieties (unless they are known under translated names in North America - which unfortunately happened with so many tomato varieties that came from Eastern Europe).

Yesterday, I transplanted my Czech tomato varieties into 200 ml cups. My final list of varieties for the year 2014:

Thank you for your update! I am interested in any clarification you can provide re: Stupice/Moravsky Div. For your reference, I grew two plants of each side-by-side two years ago and, other than Moravsky Div being 3 days earlier to ripen (could be environmental), I didn't observe any difference in plants or fruit.

I look forward to your observations.

The answer to the question about tomato Moravsky div:
Good day sir,
one Russian company buys from us Stupické tomato field early (Stupicke polni rane), which is registered with them under the name of which is given below (Moravsky div).
This tomato packed and sell - 150 seeds for 10 CZK without VAT. It should be readily available wherever sell our seed, or of course you can subscribe to our e-shop.

very good looking plants Vladimir! I was wondering and I apologize if this has been answered in the past if you or anyone else knows what the variety Czech's Bush was/is called in the Czech Republic? I realize this maybe hard to answer as I've read there are lots of bushy tomato varieties from the Czech Republic.

History of Czech´s Bush from Tatiana´s TOMATObase:
-sent to Ben Quisenberry in 1976 by Milan Sodomka from Czechoslovakia.
-this variety has been offered in SSE Yearbooks since the 1980 or earlier.

Name "Czech's Bush" never used in Czechoslovakia. Today no tomato from seventies is grown with us. The seeds and descriptions are only available in the Czech gene bank. Next year I'll grow Czech's Bush and some bush varieties of Czech gene bank (reseeding varieties in the bank are undertaken each year). I do not yet know what varieties they will be.
