Default Unidentified worm

Saw this on my storage shed and have never seen it before. any ideas what it is?

Nope - don't know off the top of my head what it is.

It appears to be some sort of caterpillar, though. Is it fuzzy or smooth?

I wish the image was a bit clearer. I am not positive but he looks as though he is a yellow wolly bear caterpillar

If so I believe he would be the virginian tiger moth when an adult. Which populations do extend to parts of Texas. I hope that helps a bit
