Default Soil mix for basil

For those of you growing basil in containers, which kind of mixes are you liking to use? I have one basil plant in a Global Bucket with MG potting mix (non-moisture control) and it is growing great. I planted some seedlings in a 10" pot and they are growing, but the soil seems to hold too much moisture (Pro-Mix Herb and Vegetable). I know basil is a bit finicky and tends to prefer a better draining mix so I am just curious to see what everyone else is doing?

I use the same mix as for the Earthtainer tomatoes. Seems to work fine.

With my basils and oreganos, I add some sand to the potting mix to help with drainage. All mine are in pots/containers.

Any good quality peat based soilless potting mix has worked for me.
