Seed sources for peppers desired

DH and I would like to get several varieties of peppers with a great flavor for growing next year. I have some great bell seeds sent by a tomatovillian...where is a good place to get seeds? I am looking into The Chilli Seed Company in the UK...but I am struggling with their site....if all I know they may not even exist any more....Please advise

Thank you, I just checked that site out and am shocked at all the varieties. I hope DH doesnt get a crazy about peppers as I am about tomatoes. (This could be trouble)

I call DH something that SOUNDS LIKE pepper head.... but only in great fun and love...We just ordered from a chili place in South Africa, and have an order from peppergal and Tomato Growers on the desk.... waiting until we can decide on every thing he wants. I decided on Bolivian Rainbow...and he ordered Cascabella, New Maxi Jala, Prarie Fire, French Wax? and Hungarian Chili? and we will probably add a few more varieties. I was reading a forum on the black pearl/hot pearl and hope to find it....

Back to the books!

I am crazy about both. First came tomatoes and then peppers. This year I have 40 pepper varieties growing and 20+ tomato varieties. I am seriously thinking about reducing the growing list for next season, but it is sooo difficult when the seed catalogs arrive.

I do also like TGS catalog, but the best varieties I have got via trading.

You may be smart not to let your BH see the Pepper list. The Mrs comaplains about,what she calls, my tomato obsession. This year I grew 23 plants. Next year I'm only growing 8 tomatos and she thinks thats to many,wants my pots for more peppers. This year the Mrs grew 100 Cayenne and 10 Ancho here in the PNW. They grew very well and at this time we have 3 Ancho in the house to finish ripening.

Haven't posted for a while, but let me say.....YES, you can easily get addicted to growing peppers. Just 3 years ago, I started this hobby. Now my basement has three grow light shelving units. And so on and so forth. But I sure do enjoy doing it. I've met and communicated with a lot of great enthusiasts.

between my peppers, tomatoes, garlic and onions.... I am wondering if I really HAVE to plant a few cucumbers and lettuce and carrots next year. LOL They arent quite so fun too grow and not nearly as flavorful
