Default A realy interesting web site:- on seed storage problems.

Today:- I came accross this realy interesting web site, with all sorts of other sections as well covering a host of subjects and their problems and answers- scientificaly worked out.

This section would no doubt be of lots of interest to seed savers as a whole, giving problems and answers, graphs etc.

www.steve.gb.com/science/seeds.html#problems

But having said that- the rest of the website is also well worth reading too- if you have got the time ?. and can absorb it all mentaly, as some of it is a bit technical.

But anyway-let me know what you think to the info contained therein.

I'm wondering what the terrible mistake is that those naked mole rats spotted.

Its probably something to do with the article entitled (Moles ) right at the top of the page, which is absolutly full of brain busting scientific claptrap that I cant even begin to fathom-it gave me a headache just trying to read it-let alone absorb any of it, they probably made a mistake in their calculations somewhere -much too high brow for me I am afraid-I think I will skip that section and give it a miss.

I realy liked the Double coconut seed further up the page, fancy trying to pot and germinate that monster,
The coco de mere double coconut seed is quite famous and much sought after as an aphrodisiac and fertility substance and is a bit on the rare side, somebody once tried to sell one on E-Bay at a ridiculous price running into hundreds of pounds, and strangely enough they were swamped with bids.

Took me quite a while to find the mole rats. I actually did look at the (way over my head) moles article first. If you click on the mole rats, it has an e-mail template for you to send in a note informing Steve that he's wrong about something and explaining how you know this. I clearly am not qualified to spot any errors in any of it, since I wasn't always sure what was being discussed.
