Duane's growing these this year, being careful to put the scariest ones well out of reach of Mario Le Mew, our Maine Coon, who likes to eat plants.

Here's a pic of Mario munching happily on catnip in Munchkin's garden. He's quite stoned. I hit the refresh thingie after resizing the picture so hoping it's smaller than my earlier attempts:

Stoned cats are the best. One second they are mellow with the world and the next they are rocketing down the stairs and jumping full speed through the cat door. I know that my cat will break its neck one of these days when my kids lock the cat door.

Mantis,

Yeah, Mario isn't the brightest bulb either, but he's cute and furry and he needs us. I don't let the cats stay outside when we're not home and after the sun goes down. Call me over-protective but Mario's 11 and Annie's 17. :wink:
