Default Verde de las landas tomato

Hello everyone, I show you photos of a tomato (green of the landes) 3 years of cultivation, it is a real delight, maybe it is one of the best tomatoes with the best flavor I've tried so far, I leave the link of your description by creator of this tomato in Cantabria (Spain).

VERDE DE LAS LANDAS

The green tomato of the Landes is an outstanding son of the Evergreen tomato from which it has evolved adapting to the Landes climate (later that of Cantabria) and has acquired over time different physical and organoleptic qualities that differentiate it from its parents.

The fruits of the Green of the Landes are not very large, between 150 and 200 gr, they have green skin even when they ripen when they acquire a golden glow that tells us that it is already at its optimal moment of collection, the cut is very aromatic, juicy , with not too many seeds and a pulp of the same emerald skin tone.

It has a sweet and fruity taste with an acid aftertaste that rounds it, without a doubt the best green tomato that has grown in our garden

Growing conditions

Requires slightly acidic deep soils with good drainage, well fertilized, it is necessary to keep the soil cool and airy

The planting should be carried out in a sunny place, preferably protected from the wind, tutors should be placed next to the seedling that will subsequently support the plant

It requires regular watering, always at the base of the plant and without wetting the leaves. With the appearance of the first fruits, it is convenient to apply potassium fertilizers either with irrigation water or foliar path
