Default surprise size and amount increase

I watered Sunday morning before a couple of days out of town, leaving a decent sized green fruit on a Pink Brandywine plant, a bare knot on another and a couple of knots on some Mortgage Lifters.

I returned today about 1P this afternoon and holy cow - 15 fruit sets between two Pink Brandywine plants and 9 fruits set between 2 Mortgage Lifters! I was also shocked at the size comparisons with three days growth. I have some pics below - from Saturday afternoon to today below. I tried to replicate angles to give a fair comparison.
