Default Is this BER?

Is this BER? I've noticed this happening to a lot of fruit, and have been pulling and chucking them.

I'm seeing it in earthbox and raised bed plants. I've been fertilizing both with Texas Tomato Food weekly (1 Tb in a gallon water for raised beds, 1 Tb in 20 oz bottle down fill tube for eb). Earthboxes get calcinit every other week (1 tsp down feed tube).

Plants all look fabulous apart from this issue.

The black part is. The other part is catfacing. Even with Calcinit, the dolomite you put into a new EB takes months to dissolve into the soil. TTF should be 1Tablespoon per gallon, the reservoir of an EB holds 3 gallons. ( gets pricey that way, no?)

It seems that certain of my tomatoes in Earthboxes are more prone to this, too. I, too, am trying calcium nit and TTF. Costoluto Genovese all fruit so far with BER. Otherwise just an occasional tomato.

My Lucid Gem appears to be PRONE to BER over others. I must have picked off over 10 bigger than golf sized fruits. Sad.

Mine was too, but it grew out of it. New earthbox mix so the dolomite hadn't had a chance to incorporate in the potting mix yet, that takes a few months. Lucid gem was nice though, and productive enough to still get lots of good fruit.
