Here's the recipe: http://www.dogtreatkitchen.com/peanu...it-recipe.html

I made teddy bears, dinosaurs, bats, and a T and a B with the scraps for Toblerone (Toby) and Buttercup.
Kelly, thank you so much for sharing your recipe with us. I will most likely make some for my baby (she is 12) this weekend. She loves cookies. Great idea.
thank you

My husband used to take a huge glob of peanut butter and wedge it up in the roof of our dog's mouth. Trying to lick it out it kept her busy (and very happy!) for quite a while.

You're very welcome, Ella! I hope she likes them! I gave some to my coworker and to my mom who has two dogs and so far not one dog has turned their nose up at them.

My old dog I had Boo Boo would if he didn't know you.
I cannot tell you how many people have tried to give him treats and he would turn his nose up at them.
If he saw me eat something he would eat it.

Buttercup's the same way, she won't even take treats from the vet we've been going to for years. But she's a little different with strangers. When she was 6 months old, she got out of our back yard and was lost for 2 weeks before we got her back from Animal Control, during which time I'm assuming she got chased by lots of strangers trying to grab her because we had signs everywhere. Ever since then, she hasn't trusted strangers (she's 6 years old now). The only people aside from my husband and I she doesn't shy away from are two of our friends who have known her since before she ran away. She's gotten a little better since living in an apartment and having to walk by all sorts of strange people and dogs to do her business, but she's still shy.

I had to lie to the people at the pound and tell them I did not have any cats, so they would let me adopt my German Shepherd. Because obviously German Shepherds and cats can't get along.

That cat is from the ghetto; she's not scared of anything. Her owner was my neighbor, who shot a cop and had to go away for a while. Animal Control came for his pets, but she ditched them by breaking into my house to hide there. She's also completely deaf. I have to be careful to not hit her with the lawn mower, because she can't hear it coming.

Ole Zeus came by and hug out with me tonight while I was messing around and I gave him some frozen treats I keep around for him.
His ears perked up and listened and then he took off back home.
I could just make out someone calling him.

Cole_Robbie, what a great story. Thanks for sharing. It is amazing how judgmental some people are. This picture proves them wrong.

I had a guy move next to me one time with a pit bull.
The guy told me I'm sorry if my dog kills your cats, it is a cat killer.
I mean this is the first thing he said to me.
I told the guy if the dog kills my cat it will be the last thing it does.
By the time my cats and I got through with that dog it and the cats were buddies.

Not ten feet from my tomato patch and about twenty feet in front of me.
I have no idea where they came from.
I also had some wild turkey in the woods this morning.

I saw a grouse in one of my birch trees couple days ago. They're about the same size as a hen. They like to come around in spring and eat the evening primrose leaves and other things. They aren't good flyers, pretty low, but when you startle one and they fly up it sounds just like a cat purring. One year i had a nest of little ones right in the yard.

Food of the God's.
American cheese, kettle cooked potato chips, homemade Fresno hot sauce, with mayonnaise on wheat sandwich.
I was starving.

Worth, next time you fry your potatoes, save enough of them for a cold fried potato and mustard sandwich the next day. I have ate them since I was a kid, but now I don't try anything more than a few times a year. Try it if you haven't already, I bet you will like it.
