They are nice folks. I'm not exactly the most sociable person around. These people make it easy to be sociable.

Our friend has a large grill/smoker. He smoked fourteen briskets, seven turkeys, forty lbs of smoked sausage, and some wieners. They made five gallons of potato salad and about the same amount of beans. They were expecting about three hundred people and about two hundred fifty showed up. This is their twelfth year to host the party. Dessert was an all American standard for the Fourth Of July celebration, apple pie and ice cream.
