Default 3 spots left in my tomato lineup ...

What should I fill these open spots with? Salsa (fresh and canned), tomato juice, and BLT's are the goal.

Here is my current lineup
1. Big Beef
2. Big Beef
3. Big Beef
4. Big Beef
5. Big Beef
6. Big Beef
7. Brandywine Red
8. Mr Stripey
9. Celebrity
10. Yellow Pear
11. Super Sweet 100
12. Big Beef
13.
14.
15.

I'm thinking at least on Brandy Boy if not 2. But I cannot find them around here.

Second Mike.
I like some colors .
I would suggest AZOYCHKA in place of black cherry. That is a nice golden yellow tomato with good taste and production.

Never tried Azoychka, as I'm not too keen on the yellows, although Porkchop is a tasty variety. I'll have to give Azoychka a try.

Definitely try Cherokee Purple. There is a reason it is the most popular heirloom and the reason I am growing Indian Stripe Potato Leaf, Carbon and Paul Robeson this year.

Also the first family heirloom I have ever seen sold at the local Southern States store in the the black plastic 4 packs.

Eva Purple Ball is a wonderful tomato too. I don't know which is my favorite, but EPB plants would be harder to find.

I second the Sungold, as well as a dark tomato like Cherokee Purple.

Go to some of your local Farmer's Markets. Bet you will find varieties that the Big Boys do not carry...

Dump celebrity and yellow pear and plant 5 more big beef...lol.

I love sunsugar. Cherries don't really fit your purposes though. I agree the brandy boy is intriguing, and I would like to maybe try that next year. I really liked Estiva F1 for canned salsa last year. Good taste, blemish free, peeled and seeded easily. The seed was from Johnny's though, and I don't favor the likelihood of finding plants. Nobody that I talked to around here had heard of it. Estivas froze well too; I am down to just a handful left in the freezer. I've been using them for my "mexcellent omelets".

Odoriko, Cosmonaut Volkov, Larisa, ISPL, Carbon, all solid producers, and all probably possess more flavor than 1-6;8-12.

I second the 86 Yellow Pear req.
