I just use thick baling twine. Might sag a little, but not enough to bother me.

Huh. Don't really like how those leaves are curling down either. Nothing weird in that straw?

I went out this past wednesday and applied Tomato Tone to every plant. Pulling back the straw for every plant was a big pain in the butt!

Is there something easier? and what kind of schedule should i have for the fertilizer?

I am trying to spray for pests and diseases weekly but I don't have a fertilizer schedule yet...

I was thinking about trying the Fox Farm products...

Any suggestions?

Some of the peppers aren't looking so hot. First time planting peppers, what should I do to them?

It looks like you have black plastic between the rows, and straw mulch around your peppers. I think just the opposite, straw between the rows and black plastic mulch around your peppers, would have been better. Years ago I learned the hard way, don't put anything around pepper plants that may cool the soil.

Some dead leaves at the bottom of the plants are normal I think. Doesn't look that bad to me. But there so much wet for a while, can be some fungus growth - are you spraying Daconil or anything?

Okay, phew. I have been spraying the actinovate/Exel mixture. Although with the rain, I probably missed some sprays.

Although, I went out today and a had a bunch of broken branches. Grrr, this Florida weave thing just isn't working for me. Maybe I am doing it wrong. I had to tire up a bunch of individual branches today. I was only able to get one row done.

I think I might have mites! I sprayed today with fungicide. Can I also spray with take down spray in the same day?
