Doesn't surprise me at all, Worth. You are the critter whisperer!

I have to excuse my self from sounding judgmental,but...
Some people that can not communicate with other people or at least be patient with them think that they can be patient and understanding with animals. Well, animals sense better than humans if you love them.
If you love someone you will do your best to take care of them. Even if it is not easy.
Animals know that. They are forgiven. But they sense if you do not love them. They are our little brothers.
When we got our little dog, she became a family. We joke with our son and say "your sister" talking about our dog. He does not mind. He loves her a lot.

A few months ago I stopped at the intersection where I have to pull out on the main road.
To my left in the grass a pickup was parked with a gal in the passenger seat.
Outside the truck was a white trash skin head redneck jerk guy about 30 years old with a wife beater on beating a Pit Bull puppy in the head with his fist as hard as he could.

I have to tell you it was all I could do to keep from jumping out of my truck and beating the crap out of that guy.
The light changed and I got out of there a fast as I could.
Worth what are here for?
Beating a guy that was beating a puppy I was protecting its life.
I know the judge here he might have tossed it out of court he is old school big time.

I've had some "Einstein" dogs in my life. That type of dog needs love and respect to reciprocate.

I got my new feist pup in November, she was 12 weeks old. I brought her home and put her in the floor to show my family. She was a little scared of her new surroundings, and new people, when out of the blue my older yorkie attacks her. I immediately grabbed her up in my arms and soothed her. She has never forgotten. I'm her rock, and she loves and respects me..

Haha just checking. That's a Texas look in some parts. Hunted around Kingsville years ago and was the norm

Sadly that can't be "unseen".

And I'm glad I already knew what you looked like, Worth, so I wasn't mistaking you for that pic. LOL

Cole, here was my best bud. Best dog I ever knew. Fozzie. RIP

He reminds me of Clancy. This pic is Clancy and Nancy. They will have been gone two years in the spring.

Beautiful dogs all, Cole!

No offense to my flat-coated retriever, but my canine soul mate was a tri color collie named Lyddy. If I lived to be a hundred I don't think I could find another one like her.

My DH (as a child) had a pet, German Shepherd. He had to give it to Army once the dog matured. His parents never explained it to him that the dog was a temporary pet.

I would hate to give my friend away. This is so wrong on so many levels.
