Default LGS x GS F1

Here are some pics of my Lime Green Salad (Green Elf) x Green Sausage (Green Sleeves). Both Tom Wagner Creations. It was one of eleven accidental bee crosses I grew out.

The seed was planted in January, and grown in a 4.5" pot under lights/window/outside until I harvested the first fruit. The first fruit was plum shaped and very flavorful. It was then planted out in early June with the first fruits pepper shaped and later ones mixed with plum shaped. The F2 seedlings were just planted out a few days ago, 7 dwarfs and 11 non dwarfs. I have no goal for this cross, just seeing what comes out of it.

The number of trusses and the fruit shape surprised me and I asked Tom about it on his TaterMater forum, but I couldn't post pics there for him so I'm posting them here.

That last pic almost looks like an elongated striped heart, very nice!

For high yield early ....a hybrid between Green Sleeves and Window Box Roma can't be beat. The vine is loaded and looks a bit like the photos of the first message.
