Like some pretty good grinding work. What I dont want to do is permanently alter the parts that are on it and ruin them. I got the idea for what I am doing when I saw the old art deco Yates lathe and how it was set up. Where I worked at many years ago in a cabinet shop my boss bought a bigger Yates lathe for $25 at an auction. It never dawned on me the style of the Shopsmith is art deco influenced. The ugly contraption that someone put on it before me was horrible. Worth |
