Default I just learned that tomato hornworms glow under UV light

That would make some interesting nighttime gardening.

If you turned a black light on at night where I live you would run off screaming.

I have seen her videos before and with the risk of sounding like a sexiest pig, she is a lot more informative and easier to listen to than the 84 year old tomato seed guy.

Haha, I suppose that's true, some things cannot be unseen too, might never want to go back.

The first link I found had OK visuals, but I found the background music annoying, so I found her, who's this tomato seed guy, or maybe I shouldn't ask?

You really dont want to even look at one of his videos trust me.
For that reason I wont even post a link to the thread or video so you can be traumatized.
Just imagine this girl being a skinny young guy on meth crack and acid at the same time repeating herself twenty times to get something out while flapping around.

Not a hornworm, and no UV light, but pretty funny (press play for full effect)

That was great Hudson.

Scorpions also glow under UV light. You can see them all over the sand dunes at the beach.

Hudson, my husband just came into the room to see why I was laughing so hard. He joined me. What's the song, do you know?

Really interesting! So hornworms have fluorescent chemical compounds, as do tomato flowers. I might try this soon- I found a monster hornworm happily munching on one of my tomatoes just yesterday. Once you find one, there are hordes of others....

Not sure. My husband thinks it's from Bizet's opera, Carmen, but it sounds a little off to me... It's definitely in French, whatever it is!
