Default 2018 RGGS

here's a picture of this years RGGS, only 9 plants this year to give them more room and staggared so they get more wind around them and easier to trim, last year too many plants, (14) got like a jungle, and was hard to manage, so now i just sit back and watch lol, and maybe a little miracle grow now and then, otherwise pretty maintenance free,----tom

Looking good!

And I like the piping that keeps the buckets from blowing over in a stiff wind.

I am going to try a varied version of the set up. My plan is to use mesh fabric (used for shade) to hold my media. Cut holes in the buckets for air and a drain in the bottom, for recirculation. I really like what my media mix (hydroton, coco coir & perlite) has shown me so far. I think (for me) this is more of a economical choice. The wife already volunteered to sew the mesh bags. I guess I have no choice now. Thanks for a great idea !!!
Aloha, Tom

How are your "set it and forget it" buckets doing?
