More pictures:
1st pic: Red Pontiac potato harvest. I started these from three seed potatoes almost three months ago. I grew them in a 10 gallons pot. Not a good harvest I guess but I was happy to get something. 2nd pic: First tomato of the season. It will be ready for harvest soon. Variety: Thessaloniki. I am really very happy with this variety, it has lots of fruits and was relatively early. I will definitely grow it again. 3rd pic: Mystery pepper. I started this plant from a seed that came with a "hot mix" seed package. Is it Joe Parker? What do you think? |

I would say it is more sweet than salty and delicious, almost like a "fruit". Very juicy too and it has big seeds.

Awesome garden and awesome picture progress! The last pics make me glad that I chose Black Prince and Sugar Sweetie for a few of my varieties this year... :-)

Sweetie tastes pretty good but I wouldn't say it is prolific. I am also currently growing several sweet 100 plants from the seeds of last year's hybrid plants. I will show their pictures when the fruits are right size.

Oh pretty!
I love sunchokes, I wonder if we can grow them up here? The flower, I bet not.

tam91, I purchased the seeds from www.potatogarden.com. I am growing two different tubers: fuseau and stampede. I personally like stampede better. Sunchoke is a very nutritious vegetable, and I will write down a special recipe to cook it even though I think it is also very nice to eat it raw.
