Default Our tomato tunnels

This is a structure that works really well for us in the cool and rainy Pacific North West.

We call it a tomato 'tunnel' - each one is 5' wide and 16' long. The plastic rolls up in hot days, either on one side, or on both sides. The main purpose of this is to protect tomato plants from heavy rains (and late blight).

The plastic cover is simply wrapped over the structure, and when it is rolled up, it rests on the long beams just above the wire support.

All the harvesting is happening from the external sides, there is no walking in between the rows - it'll be a jungle there in a month anyway
