All if your plants look great Vladimir. I am happy to see KARMA pink among them growing in the Czech Rupublic. Again, I could recognize them unlabelled even among other potato leaf plants.
Thank you so much for making space to trial them in your garden and thank you very much for posting this update and photographs. I wish you a wonderful season!

Default TA-DA

I picked my first 3 fruits today. One from the plant sharing an EB with the BigBeef and 2 from the same plant sharing with another KP.

I remember Marsha saying to pick before totally ripe so they don't split. We have had horrible winds today (23 MPH sustained + gusts) and then there is suppose to be dangerous thunderstorms late this afternoon. The radar looks bad; it is moving across the state; wind seems from the east though.

So I picked them, pink on the bottom and brown/greenish shoulders. I will give them what it takes to finish ripening inside and take pictures then. They weighed 1.3 oz from the one plant, and 2.3 combined for the other 2.

My 2 plants sharing the EB are so beautiful; so full of fruit and blooms. They have not outgrown their extended cages so hopefully won't be too affected by the storms.

So Barb,
Seed sown late Jan
Potted up Feb 11
Transplanted our to your EB’s Feb 25
Blushing fruit April 15 so ripe another day or two.
That means about 54 days to maturity from transplant
About 75 days from sowing seed to ripe fruit.
Excellent, that’s great. Very early for a large plant.
Try to wait to fully ripe, I hope your first taste measures up.
Very impressed with your results so far, thank you so much for the detailed updates and
Photos, really appreciate it.

Probably should add 5 or 6 days for total maturity since she picked at first blush, but still, quite early.

I should not have jumped the gun; I will wait on the other 'big' ones in the same trusses.

That storm coming made me do it.

Marsha - that's great that yours are having a revival.

Not to jinx anything, but the temps have not been too bad. We had a couple of nights at 72, but not many and we are going back in the 60s at night with mid-70s in the day for awhile. I am hopeful for a prolonged season.

Karma Pink on the back row, germination 6/6. Zena's Gift on the front row, germination 5/6. These are pretty leggy but are now hardened up. Going in the ground in perhaps a week or more. Can't wait to experience both of these varieties- they are sure to be winners. Thanks Karen!!!

9 so far, but you know how it goes. This lovely unexpected cool snap has given most a tiny but of new life, but it won't be cool enough for much longer. The cucumbers are called Green Fingers F1, they are parthenocarpic and gynoecious, and make little crunchy 6 inchers. I have enough as of today to make a batch of pickles.
Linda (Labradors) sent me the seeds I love the sweet crunchy flavor, and you get a lot.

Jacking my own thread!
