A Sungold Miracle!
Someone gave me six organic Sungold plants that she couldn't get rid of. I could have had as many as I wanted, and I am so sorry I didn't take more. These six plants were the absolutely BEST Sungolds I have ever eaten or grew. New Jersey had so much rain from Memorial Day through today. NOT ONE SUNGOLD FRUIT CRACKED. I've never seen that happen. And they were the SWEETEST fruit I had ever tasted. How I wish I could save seed and they would grow true.

if your plants have some anti cracking qualities, take some cuttings before frost kills them, and grow them in doors. you will have to continue taking cuttings from those cuttings to keep them manageable through out the winter. when summer comes, plant the best ones outside after hardening them off. thats what i had to do one year when my last alston everlasting plant did not have ripe enough fruit to save seed from. it worked.
