Default Fused stems, fasciated, mega extreme...

This has been bizarre to watch. Two plants, same variety, same mega right in the
middle of the growing tip. Same height, 4ft. I almost aborted them but no rush for
their growing space. (Dwarfs) A few suckers in the crotch up the stems but never
developed more than 1/8th inch.
Both aborted their mega blooms (yay!) and both formed a 'firework' display of small fruit.
(I wish I had set up a time-lapse)

Last pic is this morning with the mega blooms brown and crusty.
