Default curly leaf virus??

Hi All
Just was wondering about curly leaf virus. I thought my maters leaf curl ,but looking at them today it really looks like curly leaf virus??
The leaves are leathery , curled and on the top of the plant, can anyone help?
I did pull some of them, just in case, i m sure i jumped the gun ,but more and more of the maters seem to be getting this condition?
thanks
sue

Sue, really difficult to say w/o a picture (and even with a picture, it can still be a challenge to make a definitive diagnosis). It's not uncommon for leaves to curl or roll due to various environmental stresses -- temp changes/extremes, drought/lack of water, too much water, foliage out of balance w/root development, etc.

And, as far as I know, most of the viruses/diseases that might cause leaf curl really aren't prevalent in your part of the country. Have you looked through the pics in some of the links in the tomato problem solver sticky yet?

Curly Top virus causes very deformed leaf growth to my knowledge. Also don't think you'll find it in Ohio.

What parts of North America are susceptible to curly leaf virus?
