What is this?

Looking at pictures Im thinking it may be late blight. It looks like BER but only its at the stem end. The fruit is Gregori's Altai and I pulled two previous fruit from the plant with BER.
Edited to add I just found another one off the same plant. Thats 4 total, two with BER and 2 more with this problem. And the GA is the only plant that is effected as far as I can tell

I also cut the fruit open and there is no sign of a pest, just rotten fruit. 3 fruit now. This was going to be my most productive non-cherry other than a hybrid. Darnit, its always something.

What do the leaves and stems of the plant look like? If that's late blight, you won't just have spots like that on two or three fruits, there will be black blotches on the leaves and stems as well, with probably some dead foliage too.

If the leaves and stems of the plants don't have lots of blackened areas, see if there is anything in these pics that would be helpful in identifying the problem:

BER doesn't only occur on the blossom end of the fruit. It can appear on the side of the fruit instead, and can also appear only in the interior of the fruit, with nothing showing on the outside at all.

I cant really tell looking at those pics. It looks most like BER, only on the stem end. The foliage doesnt look bad, just some leaf curl on the lower leaves

duajones, do you have a follow up on the GA tomato plant? I am going to grow it for the first time this spring and was wondering what happened. Thanks!8)

It appears it was BER as it mostly cleared up on following fruit. I will definitely grow it again as it was grown in less than ideal conditions
