I think through selection we can improve upon the PL multiflora black We already have without needing to cross it. There are large mF trusses on one of my F4s with odd little beefsteak shaped ribbed cherries. Will see what they are like when ripe, presuming they are a Multiflora clear epi potato leaf black cherry, there is already no such thing existing that I know of so it is absolutely unique in the world already... If they taste great, I doubt it can be improved upon by crossing, just by further growouts and selection since it is clearly still segregating. The one above in my photo looks nothing like the F3 it came from from. Stay tuned for pics of that one once ripe.

I agree that this will be excellent as is once stable. I was just thinking, daydreaming really, of a new cross that would bring some cool traits.
This one is the F4 one that wasn't a MR truss, right? |

My MF purples were a little slower to ripen too. So worth the wait.
Any pinks near maturity? |

The pinks and the green bi got a much later start but have lots of unripe fruit. There are some apricots looking like they may be soon and some of the regular(not mF) purples breaking colour.
Will post pics of good specimens of each eventually. Stay tuned for an avalanche of "good KARMA " KarenO |

And, finally, my favourite, a miracle I think and a blend of all the other colours.
Introducing what I am calling "Karma Miracle" F4. a green and pink bicolour cherry with wonderful flavour. Potato leaf indeterminate. Clear epidermis starts out green with faint pink streaks and then the exterior pink colour intensifies as they ripen. These are my selections for the best Karmas of 2017 along with the small purple clear epi purple F4 cherry and the large dark rose F4cherry with the perfect trusses. Seeds saved today Marsha, I will send them next week F6 seeds for the Karma Pink and F 5 seeds of everything else. So proud of these! KarenO Last edited by KarenO; August 11, 2017 at 05:43 PM. |

I don't even have words to describe how wonderful they are. I am proud of them too. Just gorgeous. So when I grow the F6 pink, I will have F7 seeds which is basically, stable. I am indescribably happy.
