New Big Dwarf
It is one of the classic heirloom dwarf plants (first released in 1909) that produces an excellent yield of great tasting pink fruit averaging about 8 oz in size. Burpee's Quarter Century This is another classic heirloom dwarf (released in the mid-1890s or the early 1900s - I can't quite remember) that is red and produces fruit that average about 5 oz or so. Another good option might be Rosella Crimson, which is one of the Dwarf Project releases (released in 2014, I believe). Last edited by Koala Doug; January 6, 2019 at 07:28 PM. |

I was very impressed with New Big Dwarf though the plant is neither "new" nor "big."

The plant isn't big, but I had big tomatoes-which were delicious and nearly seedless- many on each plant.

You can take the old Hungarians (Kecskemétis), they are heat tolerant, than a few very little ones from Thompson & Morgan like "The Amateur" or "Cherry Falls"....
Ted's Dwarfs I had in cultivation, if you want to have seeds, tell it me and you'll get them. |
