Ken, notwithstanding that interesting variation, Kimberly is PL, so you likely either have a cross or the wrong variety altogether.

Suze, I realize it's not Kimberly, but I'm not sure what it is. I got them from one of the CHOPTAGGERS at the seed exchange. I'll see if I can figure out who gave me the seeds.

I started 2 variegated plants, one for my MIL and one for my Mom.
They look just like the ones you posted a pic of.
Narrrow saw edged leaves and all.
Maybe I can get my MIL to email me a pic

I tasted my first Kimberly today. I had one picked several days ago and left on the counter ‘til it was slightly overripe and one picked today. The overripe one was definitely much better. It has a very rich, tart tomato taste. I’d say it’s better than Stupice and I really liked Stupice. Kimberly has that slightly green gel around the seeds that I think usually makes for a very tasty tomato!

Very productive and DTM was 49 days in great tomato growing weather.

Bruce, I got a chuckle reading that because I've had maybe 5-6 Kimberlys and just now tried a Stupice. I liked the Stupice better but maybe when I have plenty of everything to really compare side-to-side I may change my tune. Heck, Kimberly will repeat for me for sheer earliness and they were tasty for an early.

Let us know when you try them together. I didn't grow Stupice this year so I'll have to grow both next year to really compare them.

Let Kimberly get very ripe. The one in the picture looked ripe but the one I'd left on the counter a few days was sooo much better.

Angelique,
The fruits from my Kimberly have ranged in size from golf ball or slightly larger to about the same size as the ones in your picture. It is a great producing plant, still setting fruit, but not like earlier. Seems to thrive in the heat. My plant is only about 3 feet tall, and foliage is not very dense. How big is your plant?

Thank you for the information. My plant is only about 29 inches tall. It is definitely doing better than Kimberly in the Sacto heat.
