Sakura Honey
Looks like Johnny's discontinued this. Shame as I liked it and it sold well to my local grocery stores.
I called Johnny's and they said Bejo was the breeder, but in speaking with them they said no. Anyone know who might have seed or who the original breeder would be? Thanks, Matt |

I grew Sakura Honey several years ago and it is a good market tomato as you say. I think Vitalis, a Dutch company, bred it. I started work on an open-pollinated version the season before last.

Johnny's can still custom order it. I combined my order with another large farm in New York you may know about. Minimum order is 6M at $260/M. Talk to Ken Fine at Johnny's if you want it in the future.
The seed breeder is out of Taiwan. |
