Default First over-wintered tomatoes - !!

Folks, I always over-winter peppers and have tried to over-winter ten tomatoes in my greenhouse but always failed. This year, two survived. Basically, I dug up ten tomatoes and cut them down to about a foot high and put them in pots last fall. I watered them very little, unlike previous years.

Here they are - the one on the left is Big Pink Hybrid and the one on the right that is FLOWERING is unknown.

March, and I have a flowering tomato. I am extremely pleased.

Well done! I find that tomatoes are way easier to overwinter than peppers. My pepper plants were covered with aphids, even after several treatments, but tomatoes are not bothered at all, the problem is they grow too fast indoors, so I had to keep pruning it. A quick way to propagate for new plants from suckers, very doable.
