great photos!

I haven't grown Casey's in several years. I need to grow it again in 2017. I remember it having a relatively early maturity.

Douglas, have you found that elusive yellow you have been searching for?
I sent you seeds of Djena Lee's Golden Girl a couple of years ago, and that is for sure a high acid yellow.
Your son is a talented photographer. Those are beautiful photos.

Aw, that is so nice. Sure glad you are enjoying them. They should keep right on producing for you, too.

The stripe is one of my favorite...Chocolate Stripe and the purple cherries are actually called.. Chinese Purple...not really a cherry but tennis ball size and a little larger at times.

Great photos! Thanks so much for sharing. It's nice eye candy for those of us up north here in the snow.

Love the pictures. Did the yellow taste as good as your expectations?

Yes was quite good. I like a more acid tasting tomato with that old fashioned bite to it. Sometimes a "balanced" tomato with acid/sweet is okay too...but don't care for really sweet tomatoes but they do make good sauce. Having tomatoes for breakfast, lunch and dinner! I love sliced tomatoes with fried eggs!!

Casey's Pure Yellow sounds like a winner, I like some acid to my tomatoes as well. I read up on it and see it was a yellow tomato from a grow-out of Green Giant. Green giant is quite sweet, interesting this isn't--I wonder if it was a mutation if somehow the mutation was a double whammy on both color and flavor!
