Chiltoma Peppers
Any one growing this variety? I'm trying it this year for the first time and wondering what color it's suppose to be when ripe?
Thanks, Joe |

Joe, were you able to find out any more about this pepper?
Not much information out there about it, which is probably why you asked the question in the first place. I noticed that Reimer's carries it, but they don't note ripe color either. |

I see Chiltoma de Nicaragua in a SSE Yearbook. Is it the same? It says 1.5 X 3" wrinkled red fruit.

Thanks Reign, I think that is the same variety I'm growing. A Nicaraguan friend however said they should be green. I picked a few green and grilled them the other night and they were really tasty. Perhaps I'll let a few ripen to red.
