Painting Tomatoes
I posted this in another older thread, but I thought I'd open up a thread dedicated to tomato art. My wife paints wildlife, flowers, architecture, etc., but just two weeks ago tried her hand at tomatoes for the first time, on canvas. I think she did a marvelous job- the variety is DLH. Are there others on here who paint tomatoes or other veggies? Please post them up!!

Thanks Nan! She's working on bluebirds right now. She started painting on slates just recently- the trick is finding a good supply of used roofing slate. She is friends with a roofing company owner who is hooking her up with some. The used ones have such a nice patina on them already....
