Default Fertilize/amend the planting hole on HEB?

I was thinking of putting some worm castings, rock phosphate, and epsom salt in the planting hole for my HEBs and a few 5 gallon buckets I am growing in.

Has anybody every done this, and did it help, hurt, or make no difference?
