I've been grasping at AKMarks concept on doubling up. Just saw the pic in post 26. Insane ! granted he's got it down to a science.
I've always done singles in containers 3-4X what's he's running (15G) |

I usually "Twin " the small ones ...for various reasons (double) 2 stems instead of 1.
some people have said that they are not as efficient as singletons ....but It seems to me that twins (doubles ) help each other in the early stages of development ..if there is sufficient soil and root space. Also if it does not look like it is developing going well one can just cull out one stem later to facilitate full space . (But I more than often never do that for plants of this size).
