Default What is this

Hope that you all are having a wonderful spring in the garden. I have been preoccupied this spring with a new adventure, we are now beekeepers. Hope to have some honey in the next few weeks.

While I was at the garden today, I noticed this, any ideas about what it is.
I sprayed and removed the whole limb.

Thanks

I was afraid of that. Thought we had some in the potatoes this year. I also sent a pic to the extension, I just knew I would get a quicker response from you guys!
