Default Garden Update

Well folks it rained early this morning but we managed to get five Thessolanikki maters in the ground. Had to do it the old fashioned way with a spade but they are out there. Onions are still doing great. Pumpkins which are in cups are growing like they are on steroids. One Atlantic Giant is all out of the AG's that are up but man that sucker is huge for a seedling. Likewise with the Galeux d'Eysines. I have five plants of this French heirloom. Also have tiger melons up and growing. Orange Sun Bells are doing good. Hots are too but slower going so some will go in pots to winter over. An awkward year for starting seeds but at least we will have some cool stuff.

Oh yes my other pumpkins Big Moon, Howden, Gurney Giant Magic and Winter Luxury are all up. Waiting on Honey King Melon and Kobacha Squash.

More updates soon.

I have grown kabocha for the 2nd time this year, you will like this one if you enjoyed the buttercup winter squash.
