I had some troubles trying to heat my greenhouse in the freezing weather and that set me back, so I took a few weeks off and let my plants grow out of their freeze damage.

I should be good for tomorrow though. Here's what I have to take:

You should do well taking those plants to market. They are lovely.

Your Marigolds look much bushier then mine, and overall much healthier. Can I ask what fertilizer/fertilizer program your using?

Mine are just looking kind "blah".

And oddly my dwarf zinnias "Thumbelina" shot up some long stalks and then bloomed. But I do plan to take them tomorrow.

Thanks. The only fertilizer I use is Osmocote Plus. I buy expensive seeds from Harris, and I water when the pot gets light, by soaking it in a bin of shallow water. Those are my tips. I am a big fan of bottom watering by soaking. The bigger the plant gets, the more beneficial that method becomes.

Im considering in the near future, switching to Granular. Im tired of mixing fertilizer. Not to mention, im considering my options as I am wanting to go Organic.

I think the secret tp organic container plants would be to never let them get below about 60 dwgrees. I am certainly not at that point yet.

I should clarify, Organic Produce. Not to worried about Organic Flowers. But for what its worth, I believe that products like Blood Meal, Bone Meal, etc,... are not as dependent on soil microbes.
