Update - my garlic is in! I covered the garlic plot with plastic during the last rain, to keep it from getting wetter. During the dry spell, I cultivated lightly every 2 days, to speed up drying. The soil was dry enough today to dig to planting depth, and to build the mound... after which DW & I planted. Just in time too; had I waited another day, I would have been finishing in the dark.


Although it proved to be unnecessary, Raiquee, I sincerely appreciate your offer of planting space.
