Con su permiso ... may I use a printout of Bab-Wah to sight in my scope? These pesky wabbits got me pullin' my hair out

Keith,
It looks like Vic has chosen the method of control that includes shooting. Or habitat modification, he is gonna remove the rabbits from the habitat

For three years now I've been providing them with optimum habitat, including a huge briar patch for cover, feeding'm good ... leaving plenty of clover in the lawn, plantin' Swiss chard, greens, lettuce, etc. for'm to eat outta the garden ... but now they've overstepped their bounds -- eatin' my peppers ... somebody's gonna pay

Actually, I'd love to have another one some day...they are really good dogs...and love to chase critters.

My dobe adored kids...and we didn't even have any until she was 7 yrs old. She was a real sweety...useless against any intruders, except for her looks.

She definitely didn't tolerate any critters in HER yard, though. Funny, one time she chased the neighbor's cat around and around the house...until cat jumped into a chair. Dog came around the corner, stopped nose to nose with the cat and didn't know what to do, LOL! She waited until the cat took off running again and the chase was on. I don't think she would have hurt it, she just liked to chase it.

(I've had a Doberman before ... great dog ... I've had a Black and Tan, too.
I was just pokin' Barb about having a Dobie with cropped ears.
I tend to like'm better with the natural flop ... Danes too.) PV

You could try one of these: www.ratmousezapper.com
The Ultra model should do the trick. People report them being very succesful in eliminating squirrels so I'd think they'd work on pesky wabbits too. Especially the wee ones.

thanks for the info on dobies, i like ears either way.We had a German Shep and he would chase the cat then turn him over and lick her. funny stuff.
Unforturnaly the dig bit my son in the face, almost lost his eye, Dog is in Police training for drug inforcement.Dog just decided he didn't like anyone near me even the kids.
We someday hope to get another dog someday.

Hmm, that would be one BIG zapper. It would need some serious batteries.

I just put a r. z. out in the dog run two days ago. It got tripped (light was blinking) but no rat. Somehow, it got away. We'll see what tomorrow brings.

PV, I probably wouldn't do the ears again on a dog. I prefer the look but it was a pain in the arse for me and the dog. My sis's dobe, otoh, never even noticed. BTW, that wasn't a pic of my dog. She died in 1983 and I still think about her. She was that special.

.
You need to clean the bottom very well. Otherwise it is very sensitive to humid air.

humid air = humilitas aer
Serious, if the bottom plate is dirty, the high voltage will short circuit and the light will go on.

Humidity here around 10%...

I had just put the r.z. out that afternoon so don't think it would get dirty that fast.
