Default free containers

If any of you tomato villians happen to live by a Pepsi bottling plant they give away the plastic drums that the syrup comes in. I got 6 barrels last year and cut them in half and got 12 nice heavy containers. The plant in our area has blue and white barrels, I got the white ones that mountain dew syrup comes in, The white will reflect heat on those hot summer days. After cutting in half they are about 15 in. deep and about 24 in. in diameter. I easily grew 2 plants in each last year with excellent results. Good luck and happy growing in 2008.

Mike, to they start out as 55 gallon drums? Or, smaller?
