Kim,

I think we have time. Do you have any that are full size?

My guess is that it will be perfect timing this season. Last year many of mine had petered-out.

Mike,

I hope that you have some left come MAGTAG! Don't eat them all please! ;-)

Yes, a few. They are down there waiting until the next full moon to ripen!

Mike, I just know Ellicott City is on my way to somewhere! Actually now that I think a minute it has now become the destination. Eat a Brandywine for me.

Nothing ripe for me yet...and looks like at least another two weeks before I see any...seems really late this year and I got the tomatoes in about the same time. I know I was eating ripe toms this time last year . Last year for MAGTAG...my crop was winding down...now I worry what I will have to pick...go figure.

I had better start looking for a place to stay...

I picked 5 Kellogg's Breakfast this morning! This is by far my most productive tomato so far. I also picked one JD's Special C-Tex and 5 Black Cherries (not one of which made it into the house).

Here's a pic from yesterday

Mike:

Those are nice looking plants and I would love to be biting into some KB right now...have several pounds of excellent bacon in the freezer waiting for my first slicer.

Just got some white current. So far that makes Sungold, Black Cherry and White current ripe. I have noticed some of the "Emily" tomatoes changing color.

Nothing else changing color but many toms are full size and must change color soon.

Gene:

It was wonderful...have not had a good tomato since last summer. Yasha Y. is very meaty and has a wonderful taste...perfect for a BLT. Went out last night prior to a heavy rain and picked a few more that were rippening...put them on the counter and should be ready in a couple of days.

The Yoder's Yellow you gave me has some nice sized fruit and they should be rippening soon.

Gene--are you making it to MAGTAG this year?
