Doubt there's any truth to this, but when I first starting growing garlic I read on the internet that a colder winter might make for bigger garlic once it grows. It doesn't make sense to me, but I've only been growing it for 3 years now.

More than anything I enjoy seeing it starting to grow in the early spring. Signs of life in the garden!

And it's very easy to grow. I just have to get in the habit of using it more. Still haven't started making chili, something I enjoy eating and could use a little garlic in.
